i’ve met a lot of people in my years (including myself of course) that fight so hard to get somewhere or something. even to the point of being obsessed with a result that just isn’t meant to happen. doesn’t matter what it is: a job, an opportunity, kids, a certain lifestyle or status, car, relationship or mindset. don’t get stuck somewhere you’re not meant to be. although i believe Matthew 19:26, “with God all things are possible,” i like to look at it this way: with God all things WITHIN HIS WILL are possible.
get off the hamster wheel and try something different. if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten. take a risk, what have you got to lose? He’s gonna lead you to where you need to be regardless!
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

i need you and i need you now!
in moments like these, don’t forget He is always right by your side, ready and willing! but remember, what we think we need may not be what He knows we need!
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Only One Word
…wait! be still! trust Me! stay true! stay the course! and step!
all phrases my God lovingly breathes into my spirit as I continue this journey to find the passion purpose He has for me. for someone who operates on a tight schedule and “just needs to know what to do,” this is by no means easy. but this I know, He is preparing me! “for what?” remains to be seen.
until that day, I actively wait as opposed to idly waiting for Him to make something happen. active waiting allows me to cultivate the skills needed and right habits (and not become lazy or complain-y) as He prepares the promise. He will take care of the divine appointments as I am intentional about my wait. and He alone, is making me into the woman He needs me to be!
all I can do is put my best foot forward as He places it where He wants it!
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
