It’s OK

it’s ok to doubt. if you’re not sure if what you’re hearing is really from the Lord, ask Him. this happens in both the Old and New Testament. Gideon and Thomas asked for proof; Gideon wanted to know if what the Angel of the Lord was telling him to do was really God and Thomas wouldn’t believe that Christ rose from the dead until he could see it for himself. in both cases, their doubts were dissolved.
but here’s the kicker … you’ve got to move! once He has shown you it’s really Him, you’ve got to do as He has commanded (even if it sounds absurd)

Gideon said to God, “If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised— look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.”‭‭ Judges‬ ‭6:36-37‬

Now Thomas (also known as Didymus ), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”‭‭ John‬ ‭20:24-25‬

Getting Unstuck

now that we are letting Him lead the way, even in the ugliest of times (see Stuck below), how do we actually become unstuck?
He does it!
how do we let Him lead?
how will we know what He is telling us to do?
what if the answer that is bringing you peace doesn’t seem like it’s the “right” fit?
that’s My God! He doesn’t abide by our rules, we should abide by His! search your motive and if your motive is pure and you are receiving His peace: it doesn’t matter what the world or anyone in your life says. He has provided exactly what you’ve been praying for: the path He wants you to step on!

always follow His Peace!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah‬ ‭58:11‬

Let’s Clarify Something

if you know me well, you know I do not have any reservation in sharing my feelings or thoughts. One thing I hate, is when I’m misunderstood and then decisions are based on that misunderstanding. so I tend to ask a lot of questions and explain exactly where I’m coming from so there are no misconceptions. I like to call these clarifying questions or statements. without them, misunderstanding abounds much.
this most definitely applies to my relationship with Christ. He hears a lot from me and in return, He speaks. one aspect of my relationship between Creator and Creation is friendship. just as I relate and get to know others, He wants the same.

ask the questions, the answers may surprise you!

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭14:33a

3 Words

I know I’ve talked before of how sometimes God speaks to me with simple words. whispers of comfort in times of need. maybe it’s a testament to how busy I’ve been or to just how intimately He knows each and every one of His creations and how to meet us exactly where we are.
today’s words:
God is Bigger!

whatever it is you are facing:
God is Bigger!

you can’t take another step:
God is Bigger!

there’s no reasonable solution to your problem?
God is Bigger!

but I just can’t stand this anymore:
God is Bigger!

God is Bigger!

I think you get the point 😉

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ NLT)
