judging others on what you think is the whole story or what you believe happened is a huge pitfall. you can never know exactly what someone else is experiencing. please be careful of your actions, you may never know the hurt you cause because you assume something to be true!
i’m so glad God has the final say!
To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the proper answer of the tongue. Proverbs 16:1
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
I am so thankful for where the Lord has me! my journey with Him has had many twists and turns. He’s allowed me, over the course of 4 years now, to spread His love and work in my life via little notes. these notes have been captured in different online forums and I’ve been rereading them. what a trip! can’t wait for where He’s taking me next!
it’s been wonderful to reread where I once was and how He’s grown me up! how He’s used all to bring me where I am today. lessons only He could have taught me! I’m looking forward to a continued life full of lessons from Him!
here’s a gem from 2013_04_02
does He feel at home in my heart? are there sections [rooms] in my heart I don’t allow Him to enter? rooms like, the elusive closet we throw everything in when company comes. it’s not because I don’t want to give Him access, it’s because I’m embarrassed of the mess. Father, I entrust it all, especially the mess, into Your spirit! come on in!
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Revelation 3:20 NIV)
I take this from a friend’s FB post as she and many other FB friends deal with the sudden death of a wonderful man:
“I have often wondered, if there is no sorrow in Heaven, do our loved ones who have died see us as we grieve at their passing? the only way I can reconcile this in my brain is to think, since time and space are earthly constructs, that our loved ones see us as we will be when we join them some day. for now, though, my heart hurts at the loss of a dear friend. This reminds me, yet again, to never miss an opportunity to hug and speak a kind word to those around us, we never know if it’s our last opportunity.”
thank you ninanursep for a theory of Heaven I’ve never thought of before but most importantly thank you for the reminder to love those around us!
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 NIV)
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14 NIV)
It Shouldn’t Have To Be This Way
