He’s not hiding. are you doing your part to find Him? He is present in every moment and has very willingly planned out our day. we just need to look for Him every step of the way. He is there!
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
do you see it?
He is always with us! even in those times we think He’s not. He cares! He is there! He loves! He is omnipresent!
Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.
we’ve been taught to question everything. not to take someone else’s word for it. from tabloids to internet. this holds true for religion as well. when you hear something or read of what ones view is (or isn’t)… don’t take their word for it. dig into it for yourself! faith becomes real when it becomes personal.
this Easter season, I ask you … what if it’s true?!
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NIV)
He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. (Matthew 28:6 NLT)
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)
has there ever been a time in your life when, not of your own doing (or wanting), the page to your next chapter in life is turned? you’re left with feelings of sorrow or anger. stripped, as if you have no control over the circumstance … ahhh… but you do! how you choose to act (not react) is entirely your call.
remembering His promises is a learned action, so like with everything else: practice makes perfect! you can learn to act accordingly, in a way that pleases the Lord but you must first trust Him!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
have you ever felt defeated by a week that hasn’t even started yet? a week, by all means, seems impossible to endure? for me, this is one such week! as I began my day, I uttered this short statement that was, in all honesty, a desperate plea but it quickly turned into a simple prayer “oh how am I going to make it through this week?!” almost as soon as I said it, one of my life verses filled my spirit. you all know it, and most likely can recite it along with me: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 NKJV) and in an instant I knew where my mindset needed to be. let me not look at what lies ahead, but Who I have on my side to help make it through!
But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; (Jeremiah 20:11a NIV)
so often I find myself trying to figure out what God is doing in my life or what He could do if I did this or that. I know it’s all part of trying to find His will for my life BUT honestly, I’m not Him. and in my finite mind, I wouldn’t even be able to scratch the surface of what He has for me. so.. don’t limit what you think He can do by wasting time trying to uncover what you think He may. just live out each moment as He teaches and He’ll do the rest!
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)
