Is It Enough?

… to ‘just’ pray when:

* your adult children falter
* someone you love hurts and physically you can do nothing
* you’ve hurt someone
* you’re hurting
* words escape
* circumstances are beyond your control
* tragedy strikes
* listening ears disappear

this list can go on and on, especially in a world where there is now so much hate. this hate trickles into areas it has no right being. it’s not a secret that satan rules this world but take heart the Lord has overcome it All!

so to answer the question, Yes! prayer is enough, even if we feel we want to do more. prayer changes things. not always the circumstance, but most definitely how we view it!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
