It’s Not Amusing

it amazes me what is considered entertainment these days. I understand everyone has different tastes and styles and I believe we each have the freedom of expression. But come on! Some things should not even be done, let alone discussed, reported on or shows made about! I will admit, having children opened my eyes to what was going on around me and protecting them from this world will only work for so long. teaching them to think on wholesome things gets harder everyday yet has never been so important!

Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8-9‬ MSG)

  1. We touched on this over the weekend. It is a constant battle of the Mother to filter what gets into the heads of her children. It is something I struggle with EVERY day. You can come up against adversaries even in your own home. Take everything to Jesus and the Holy Spirit will do a work in their lives and the lives of others around them. Don’t give up, just give it up to prayer.
