Being Prepared

always being prepared certainly is a tall order. from a practical perspective: having band aids to clean underwear to snacks to warm clothes to a disaster survival kit. but what about as we deal with everyday situations? I don’t think being prepared means mulling over every possible scenario for every situation we may or may not encounter. there is no possible way we can predict what each day will bring. it’s a waste of energy and most likely, you’ll drive yourself crazy. instead, roll with whatever comes your way and be prepared to accept whatever it may be with a good attitude. be prepared to hit, whatever happens, head on and with a heart ready and willing to make the best of every situation!

; be prepared in season and out of season; (2 Timothy 4:2b NIV)
