ahhhh, the first day of school. as I sit here and ponder from whose perspective I want to write from, I literally just keep coming back to the fact that we are all different. doesn’t matter if I write from the child’s perspective or the teacher’s or even the parent’s. we each have different roles and different emotions attached to those roles, all for the same exact event. we each have our very own purpose for today!

reminds me of the body of Christ … each and every person has a purpose and no one [person or purpose] is more or less important than the others!

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭4, 6‬a NIV)
