Only One Word

words are powerful. that’s not a new revelation. but when it comes to knowing what to say in the tough moments: the lack of them can be just as, if not more, powerful! you know the moments. they usually come with the word extreme before them. [extreme] sadness, hurt, loss, disappointment, anger, distress. those moment that should drop us to our knees. it’s not a bad thing if words fail (or just don’t seem like enough) and to be brutally honest, if unleashing them would make matters worse. why? because saying Jesus [not as a swear word] is all that’s needed. He hears our heart’s cry and knows what we really mean [and need] AND takes it before the Father for us!

Christ Jesus … is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. (Romans 8:34b NIV)
